Support specialized social services to combat domestic violence and gender-based violence
Activity 3.1 Mapping the existing support services for victims of domestic violence and gender-based violence
Carrying out an inventory of all assistance services for victims of domestic violence and violence against women, as well as of services for aggressors, existing at national level.
The analysis will reflect the need to create new social services in relation to the needs of victims at the local level, as well as an analysis of the quality of services provided by local social service administrators.
Activity 3.2 Development of standardized sets of working tools and unitary methodologies for social services providers dealing with victims of domestic violence and violence against women.
The activity aims to provide, at the level of secondary legislation, all the absolutely necessary working tools and unitary working methodologies for social service providers dealing with victims of domestic violence and violence against women, as well as working with aggressors.
A set of standardized working tools will be developed for the use of local social service providers dealing with victims of domestic violence and violence against women, in order to improve their quality of intervention and the way in which specialized support is provided.
The standardized toolkit will include:

procedure for managing cases for victims of domestic violence,

evaluation forms,

individual intervention plans,

risck assessment questionnaires, forms, etc.

monitoring materials in the case management process

Activity 3.3 Carry out an assessment of the needs, mandate and capacities of local inter-sectoral teams set up to coordinate the implementation of measures to prevent domestic violence and violence against women at county level, as well as their training
Local inter-sectoral teams (EIL) on preventing and combating domestic violence are multidisciplinary and inter-institutional teams set up in each county and in Bucharest.[1]Having the task of identifying / monitoring cases of domestic violence that occur in the community. Their mission is to consult and facilitate dialogue between local authorities to ensure a multidisciplinary approach to these cases, to analyse county statistics on the number of cases of domestic violence, to develop annual and regular databases of other domestic policies. Local public authorities in this area, to develop local action plans on preventing and combating domestic violence and to carry out monitoring visits.
The activity aims to assess the mandate, capacity and needs of the members of the local intersectoral teams and to contribute to their specialization through appropriate professional training activities.
This activity will be implemented in partnership with The Secretariat of the Shelter Movement in Norway. Experts of the organization will be involved in organizing 4 training seminars that consider the exchange of experience and good practices in the field of social services for victims of domestic violence.
